Augusto Maxwell, Akerman's Cuba Practice Chair, will participate in a private roundtable discussion titled "The Economic Impact of U.S.-Cuba Relations" presented by the Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The discussion will focus on the recent sweeping changes to U.S.-Cuba policies, and how these changes will affect the U.S. economy. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is part of the central bank of the United States, and consists of twelve Reserve Banks located around the country.
