Matthew Aho, Christine Bautista, Pedro Freyre, and Linda Charity will participate at the Florida Bankers Association seminar, "Understanding the New Cuba Regulations: Analysis and Risk Assessment in the Real World." Matthew and Christine will present on a panel titled "The New Regulatory Framework for Banks and Financial Services Providers," which will examine the structural components of the U.S. Embargo and the implications of Cuba’s state sponsor of terrorism designation. Pedro will speak on a panel moderated by Linda, titled "From Policy to Reality: How to Operate in the New Regulatory Landscape," which will identify compliance concerns and possible approaches to reduce the risks of banking OFAC-licensed activities.
