Akerman is a sponsor of the "2012 CREW Careers: Building Opportunities Program," a philanthropic community outreach initiative presented by the New York Commercial Real Estate Women, Inc. (NYCREW). This event, co-chaired by Beth Zafonte, Director of Economic Services, will educate high school girls in New York City about career opportunities in commercial real estate. NYCREW is dedicated to providing opportunities for women to achieve success in commercial real estate.
