 | Braniff Airlines, Inc. - Representation of an aircraft lessor, an aircraft manufacturer, Sony Corporation and other parties in the Chapter 11 case of Braniff Airlines. The total debt in the case was $1 billion. |
 | Gencor Industries, Inc. - Representation as co-counsel in representing a lender group which had a secured claim of $114 million against an affiliated group of manufacturing companies in their Chapter 11 case. $79 million has been collected on the claim in the Chapter 11 case. The balance of the claim has been collected. |
 | Terion, Inc. - Representation of a $20 million shareholder creditor in the successful Chapter 11 reorganization of this high tech company. |
 | Golden Gem Growers, Inc. - Representation of SunTrust Bank concerning a $35 million dollar loan on inventory and receivables of a citrus processing company which filed Chapter 11. We were successful in protecting the collateral and making collections during Chapter 11 and assisting in a sale of our loan for cash at a discount acceptable to the client. |
 | AirNet, Inc. - Representation of a multi-million dollar shareholder creditor in a successful Chapter 11 reorganization. |
 | Dupont Center - Representation of the Texas Teachers Retirement System as a holder of a $55 million mortgage on one of the most valuable high-rise office buildings in downtown Orlando. Cohen was brought into the case upon default in the mortgage because it appeared that the owner might file Chapter 11. He negotiated a settlement under which the mortgage holder received a deed in lieu of foreclosure and avoided the expense and delay of a contested foreclosure and a Chapter 11 filing by the owner. |
 | Sheraton Twin Towers - Representation in which appointed by the Bankruptcy Judge in the Chapter 11 case of the Sheraton Twin Towers Hotel, an 850 room hotel in the tourist area of Orlando, as examiner with expanded powers and successfully formulated a Chapter 11 Plan which paid about $1 million in priority claims and about 30 cents on the dollar to general unsecured creditors in a case which began as a no asset case. His work involved litigation and negotiation with the mortgage holder on the hotel and two separate opposing shareholder groups. |
 | Joseph M. Caruso Sr. and Jr. - Representation of SunTrust Bank, Central Florida, N.A., as an $8 million creditor in Chapter 7 bankruptcies of a father and son. Cohen was instrumental in investigation and litigation that led to discovery of numerous transfers and concealments of assets which resulted in the Bankruptcy Trustees recovering more than $2 million for the benefit of the bank. |
 | Ocala Ford, Inc. - Representation of Ford Motor Credit Company as the main creditor, holding a claim of $8 million secured by a lien on new and used car inventories, parts, accounts receivable, and other assets. Our services resulted in Ford Motor Credit Company being paid in full during the Chapter 11 case of the dealer. |
 | Princeton Hospital - Representation of Health Care Financial Partners, one of the major secured creditors in the Chapter 11 case of Princeton Hospital, one of the major hospitals in the Orlando area. Our attorneys successfully obtained protection of our client's lien in the accounts receivable which exceed $12 million and were instrumental in promoting a sale of the hospital in the Chapter 11 case. |
