Agribusiness is one of Florida's largest industries. To that end, we have assembled a team of practitioners who focus on the agribusiness industry - including a former general counsel to the Florida Department of Citrus. Their knowledge and experience allows for greater efficiency since they understand the specific legal needs of the industry and can navigate through its many demands.
We handle a variety of matters for agribusiness clients: mergers and acquisitions, real estate, lending, business organization, antitrust, estates and legislative issues.
We have represented lenders to the agribusiness industry for over a decade and have been responsible for negotiating and/or documenting transactions aggregating in excess of $10 billion in that time.
Knowing that environmental issues are of concern to the industry, we can call upon the experience of former Florida Department of Environmental Regulation staff currently with the firm.
We also regularly deal with the full range of labor and employment issues that are encountered when dealing with field labor.
