Sara Brubaker's practice focuses on complex commercial, real estate, and high-stakes litigation with an emphasis on contract and business disputes, including franchisor-franchisee disputes and intellectual property disputes, and shareholder, partnership, and other closely held business disputes. Prior to joining Akerman, Sara interned with the in-house counsel department of a Fortune 500 international conglomerate, gaining valuable experience that that continues to inform her practical, business‑oriented approach and focus on efficient, cost‑effective litigation strategy.

Sara represents plaintiffs and defendants in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and complex class action litigation before state and federal courts. A trusted first‑chair trial lawyer, Sara has extensive experience litigating cases through trial and appeal, including before juries, judges, and arbitrators, and she has authored amicus curiae briefs in state and federal appellate courts. Sara is well-versed in e-discovery, having managed large-scale data collections, reviews, and productions, and leveraging AI tools to streamline processes and minimize costs for clients.

Sara is recognized for her meticulous preparation, strategic insight, and ability to navigate high‑stakes disputes with efficiency and precision.
