Akerman LLP continues to be recognized on the National Law Journal’s “NLJ 500” list as one of the largest law firms in the United States, based on the number of lawyers firm-wide.

This year, Akerman also maintained its strong positioning in The American Lawyer’s 2022 “Am Law 100” list, an annual ranking of the top-grossing law firms. The firm also jumped two spots to 57th on Law360's 400 list, which features the largest U.S.-based law firms and international firms with a U.S. component based on domestic attorney headcount.  

The NLJ 500 list is determined through a research survey process that analyses the number of equity partners, non-equity partners, and associates at firms across the country. More than 900 law firms were surveyed to determine the 500 largest U.S.-centric firms for the 2022 list.
