Labor and Employment associate Brittany Buccellato reminded employers how to prepare for natural disasters and other workplace emergencies in an article for HRMorning. In the wake of workplaces directing their employees to keep working through a series of devastating tornadoes in Illinois and Kentucky, Buccellato laid out what employers need to do to prepare their workplace for emergencies.

“Some examples of what your emergency plans should include are how employees will be notified of an emergency, how and where employees should evacuate, and where they should all meet up later,” Buccellato said.
