To honor the history and significance of "The Star Spangled Banner," the Akerman community joined together in a national celebration of the anthem's 200th anniversary. The firm produced a video to commemorate this historic event and to participate in the "Star Spangled Music Day" celebrations that took place around the United States. Akerman lawyers and staff, as well as their families, were invited to express their American identity with home videos and photos. Many of them expressed their feelings of patriotism in a chorus of the nation's song. Others shared their thoughts about the anthem and what it means to them in three words.
