Luis A. Perez, chair of Akerman’s Latin America and the Caribbean Practice and co-managing partner of the Miami office, was ranked for the 16th consecutive time in the category of International Arbitration for the Latin America region. This category recognizes leading practitioners in arbitration and cross-border disputes on behalf of companies and individuals across Latin America.

Chambers and Partners also recognized International Practice Chair Pedro A. Freyre and Cuba Practice Chair Augusto E. Maxwell, who were once again ranked as leading lawyers in Corporate/Commercial: International Firms - Cuba. The firm as a whole was given the top Band 1 rank in that same category.
