Akerman advanced its strong positioning in The American Lawyer’s 2023 “Am Law 100” list, an annual ranking of the top-grossing law firms. The firm increased its rankings in a variety of important financial categories, including gross revenue, profits per equity partner, revenue per lawyer, and profits per lawyer.

Akerman’s rankings are consistent with its record revenue growth for 12 consecutive years. The firm, which ended its fiscal year on October 31, reported gross revenues of $537.2 million for the 2022 fiscal year.

Following the release of the Am Law 100 list, Law.com wrote: "Akerman rose two places in the Am Law 100 rankings, thanks to a 8.8% revenue growth rate."

"As the national averages in both of these categories declined, Akerman saw gains in revenue per lawyer with a 6.8% growth rate, while its profits per partner went up by 2.6% and its profits per lawyer grew by 1.2%."
