Litigation associate Jasmine Pitt in the Winston-Salem office, has been elected Secretary/Treasurer of the 31st Judicial District Bar and Secretary of the Forsyth County Bar Association. As Secretary/Treasurer, she will serve on the Executive Committee of the local bar association. Her duties include assisting in overseeing the activities of the Bar, planning Bar events (including monthly meetings, CLE presentations, and socials for the members of the Bar), and promoting inclusion of various divisions of the Bar (Young Lawyer’s Division, Women Attorneys’ Division, Criminal Law Division).

Pitt focuses her practice on commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience analyzing and navigating employment issues, general and professional liability, insurance coverage and defense, bankruptcy, and contract disputes. Her clients include school boards, hospitals and medical providers, and other small and medium-sized businesses. Pitt also has experience handling appellate matters.
