Amy Doehring, Akerman's Chicago office managing partner and co-chair of Akerman’s Probate and Fiduciary Litigation Practice, has been elected to the International Association of Defense Counsel, an invitation-only association for lawyers and insurance executives who represent corporate and insurance interests around the world. Founded in 1920, IACD plays a leadership role in many areas of legal reform and professional development and provides professional resources to its membership.

Doehring represents clients in a wide variety of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts across the country as well as in arbitration. Her legal practice focuses on the defense of clients in such industries as healthcare, food and beverage, engineering, manufacturing, and insurance. She also assists corporate clients in disputes arising out of commercial transactions and advises trustees and beneficiaries in trust and estate controversies.
