Labor and Employment partner Christopher Duke has been reappointed to the executive committee of the board of directors of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County where he will serve as co-vice president for the 2023-2024 term. He has been a member of the board since 2019, previously serving as a co-vice president in 2022-2023.

Duke serves as managing partner of Akerman’s Palm Beach County Offices. With a diverse practice in employment law and complex commercial litigation, Duke represents clients in federal and state courts, as well as in various arbitration forums and before federal, state, and local administrative bodies. His clients operate across multiple sectors, including hospitality, travel/recreation, healthcare, retail, financial services, and alternative energy. 

The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County provides adult and family literacy programs, children’s literacy programs, and the Literacy AmeriCorps program, all aimed at improving the quality of life in the community by promoting and achieving literacy.
