Top 100 U.S. law firm Akerman LLP is pleased to announce that Real Estate partner Eleanore Martins has been recognized among the New York Real Estate Journal’s 2021 Ones to Watch, a list of up and coming professionals transforming the real estate sector throughout the New York region. Martins was highlighted in a special section of the publication.
Martins concentrates her practice on New York City zoning and land use, particularly applications for discretionary approvals from the City Planning Commission (such as zoning map amendments, City map changes, zoning text amendments, and special permits) and the Board of Standards and Appeals (including variances and special permits) to maximize development potential and entitlements. Martins also coordinates and reviews the related CEQR applications required in connection with these land use applications.
Her work has included successful projects for Delta Airlines at LaGuardia Airport, State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn, and many other significant clients and matters.
