Top 100 U.S. law firm Akerman LLP is pleased to announce that Senior Living Facilities Co-Chair Gregory Limoncelli was recently named vice-chair of the American Bar Association's Senior Housing and Assisted Living Committee.

The Senior Housing and Assisted Living Committee is part of the Residential, Multifamily, and Special Use Group of the ABA’s Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Section. The committee addresses the unique problems of providing housing and related services to seniors, including the continuing care retirement community, congregate care assisted living facilities, and the residential aspects of nursing care, including subsidies and other government programs.

Limoncelli, based in Akerman’s New York office, represents financial institutions and borrowers in commercial lending, trade finance, receivables purchase, and workout matters. His experience includes single lender, unitranch and syndicated facilities for cash flow, secured, asset-based, acquisition, mortgage, structured, and cross-border facilities. As co-chair of the firm’s Senior Living Facilities practice and a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, his experience includes the preparation of agreements for senior living facility operators and the acquisition, sale, and financing of assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and continuing care facilities.
