Triad Business Journal has named Real Estate Partner Kelly Otis among its 2024 Outstanding Women in Business, which recognizes those who possess a strong record of leadership, performance in their industry, and meaningful community involvement.

Otis focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions. She regularly represents purchasers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants with the acquisition, development, financing, management, sale, and lease of commercial real estate, including the drafting and negotiation of contracts, complex closing documents, reciprocal easement agreements and build-to-suit and other leases for data center developments and other large commercial development projects. She frequently review due diligence reports and helps clients maneuver through development-related issues identified during the due diligence process, including complex title, zoning and environmental issues and their potential impact on development. In addition, she assists financial institutions with the documentation, negotiation, and closing of commercial real estate secured loans, construction loans, and loan modifications.
