Perez focuses his practice on international dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and arbitration across the U.S. and Latin America for clients in the manufacturing, defense, energy, technology, financial services, and medical device industries. He represents both US companies as well as companies in Latam.  He has achieved notable victories for clients including, but not limited to:

• Represented the German subsidiary of defense contractor Raytheon in a $155 million ICC arbitration in Madrid, Spain, against a sovereign government agency regarding a contract for the repair of two submarines.
  
  
• Represented the international company Gol TV Latinoamerica in a dispute arising out of broadcasting rights for soccer games in Latam. This was one of the first cases that dealt with whether Covid 19 amounts to a force majeure defense.
  
  
• Represented the distributor of Diageo liquor products in the Dominican Republic regarding the improper termination of a distributorship agreement. The multi-million dollar dispute resulted in a favorable verdict before a jury in Miami-Dade County Civil Court.
  
  
• Represented global tobacco company Philip Morris in various proceedings in Latin America and directed the defense of all cases pending in the region without a single loss for more than six years.
  
  
• Represented the Chilean company, Tecnal, in a breach of contract and product liability claim against a Fortune 100 U.S. company. The dispute was arbitrated before the AAA/ICDR in the U.S.
  
  
• Represented Real Estate Golden Investments, a BVI company in various cases filed in multiple jurisdiction by Chilean interest.
