Akerman's Jacqueline Arango, co-chair of the White Collar Crime and Government Investigations Practice, and Dale Noll, partner in the Tax Practice Group, will be honored by the Miami-Dade Bar at its 2026 Circle of Excellence Awards Ceremony on November 18.

The Circle of Excellence Awards recognize legal professionals who set the standard for skill, integrity, and professionalism in their practice areas. Jacqueline was recognized in the Business Litigation category, and Dale was selected in the Probate and Guardianship category. Nominees were evaluated on a broad range of professional accomplishments, including significant verdicts and settlements, transactions, client representations, professional experience, honors and awards, bar and community involvement, pro bono service, scholarly contributions, and other notable achievements. Winners were selected by the Miami-Dade Bar following a rigorous peer-driven process.

Jacqueline is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney with a focus on public corruption and national security. She leads a team including former federal prosecutors and senior SEC enforcement lawyers representing corporations, financial institutions, and individuals in government investigations, regulatory enforcement matters, and trials. A litigator with more than 50 jury trials, she defends and resolves government investigations arising under statutes including the False Claims Act, the Bank Secrecy Act, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Dale represents trustees, personal representatives, guardians, and beneficiaries in a wide variety of fiduciary matters, with a particular focus on high-conflict, complex, and high-profile guardianship, trust, and probate matters at the county probate court and appellate levels. He also has experience representing corporate entities and individuals handling issues related to trust administration, incapacity proceedings, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and wills and trusts.
