Akerman represented HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI.A and NYSE: HEI) in closing an offering of $550 million in aggregate principal amount of 4.950% Senior Notes due 2031 and $650 million in aggregate principal amount of 5.400% Senior Notes due 2036.
The proceeds will reduce borrowings under HEICO's $2.2 billion revolving credit agreement, leaving HEICO with substantial ability and flexibility to fund future potential acquisitions.
HEICO is engaged primarily in the design, production, servicing and distribution of products and services to certain niche segments of the aviation, defense, space, medical, telecommunications and electronics industries through its Flight Support Group and Electronic Technologies Group. HEICO's customers include a majority of the world's airlines and overhaul shops, as well as numerous defense and space contractors and military agencies worldwide, in addition to medical, telecommunications and electronics equipment manufacturers.
