On behalf of aerospace and electronics company HEICO Corporation, national law firm Akerman closed an offering of $600 million in aggregate principal amount of 5.250% Senior Notes due 2028 and $600 million in aggregate principal amount of 5.350% Senior Notes due 2033.

HEICO intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the Notes to fund a portion of the purchase price for the acquisition of commercial and military aircraft aftermarket company Wencor Group, including related fees and expenses, and use any remaining amounts for general corporate purposes.

Akerman is representing HEICO in its acquisition of Wencor, its largest acquisition ever, for a $2.05 billion aggregate purchase price, consisting of $1.9 billion in cash and $150 million in HEICO Class A Common Stock.
