Akerman represented private equity firm Hidden Harbor Capital Partners in its strategic investment in Lathan Associates Architects, an architectural and design services firm. Corporate Partner Andrew Hard led the Akerman team, which included Corporate Practice Co-Chair Emeritus Carl Roston and Corporate associates Ledah Geller, Glorimer Rodriguez Sierra, and Paola Benitez.
Hidden Harbor Capital Partners is based in Boca Raton, Fla., and currently manages over $1.9 billion of equity capital and is investing out of its third fund, an $800 million vehicle. Lathan Associates Architects, established in 1990 and headquartered in Hoover, Ala., specializes in architectural and design services for K-12, higher education, and municipal clients across Alabama.
