Akerman has been shortlisted in the Chambers USA Awards 2021 for the "Cannabis Law – Law Firm of the Year" award category. The awards recognize a law firm’s pre-eminence in key jurisdictions in the country. They also reflect achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. They honor the work of national and international law firms across the United States  and based on the research for the recent edition of Chambers USA. Winners will be announced during a virtual event on Thursday, May 27.
