Richard Milstein was presented with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Champion award by the Arts & Business Council of Miami and Dade Legal Aid. The award recognizes those lawyers volunteering over 50 hours of pro bono service to financially under-resourced inventors in the Council. In recent months, Milstein also received the Legacy Award by the Dade County Bar Association at its inaugural “LGBTQ + Pride Celebration” marking Pride Month. The Akerman-sponsored event featured opening remarks by U.S. District Judge Darrin P. Gayles, and included a crowd of local legal luminaries.
