Amy Graham Doehring, co-deputy chair of Akerman's Litigation Practice Group, Amy Moor Gaylord, co-chair of the Traditional Labor Law Practice, and LaKeisha C. Marsh, chair of the Government Strategies Practice Group and of the firm's Higher Education and Collegiate Athletics Practice, have been named to Crain's Chicago Business' 2026 list of Notable Women in Law. The recognition honors women lawyers for their professional achievements and contributions to their communities.

A skillful trial attorney, Amy Graham Doehring represents clients in a wide variety of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts across the country, as well as in arbitration. Her practice focuses on defending clients in industries including healthcare, food and beverage, engineering, manufacturing, and insurance and advising corporate clients in disputes arising out of commercial transactions. She also represents trustees and beneficiaries in trust and estate controversies and serves on Akerman's board of directors.

With more than 29 years of experience, Amy Moor Gaylord focuses her practice on traditional labor matters and employment litigation for both public and private sector employers, with an emphasis on National Labor Relations Board proceedings, union organizing drives, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitration, and employment discrimination matters across industries including healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and public safety. A Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, she is also ranked among Benchmark Litigation's "Top 50 Labor & Employment Litigators" in the United States.

LaKeisha Marsh leads a national practice advising colleges, universities, and affiliated organizations on complex, high-stakes regulatory and governance matters across the United States. With a deep background in higher education law and prior experience as an NCAA staff member, she provides strategic counsel on the legal and regulatory issues reshaping collegiate athletics, including NIL policy development and compliance, Title IX athletics equity, antitrust risk, and institutional governance. Clients rely on LaKeisha for practical, forward-looking guidance on navigating federal and state regulatory frameworks, accreditation requirements, and emerging enforcement and litigation risks. She is regularly engaged to advise institutions on policy development, compliance strategy, and risk mitigation in an increasingly dynamic and scrutinized higher education and athletics landscape.
