In a new article, Christopher Duke tells the Society for Human Resource Management that employers can't mandate vaccines in some states. Duke notes that Florida, Kansas, and Texas all have laws prohibiting vaccine requirements by employers and employers cannot challenge an employee's claim of religious exemption. The article focuses on lawsuits filed by two former ESPN employees who refused to get the COVID-19 vaccination.
