Akerman Also Recognized as a BTI Client Service A-Team Member and a Leading Edge Law Firm

An in-depth survey of more than 350 corporate counsel named Akerman among the country’s top law firms for litigation, according to the “BTI Litigation Outlook 2025.” Akerman ranked in the top 20% of all firms nationally, with particular recognition in the areas of class action litigation, complex commercial litigation, and commercial litigation. The report, published by BTI Consulting Group, provides insight into the changes, trends, and opportunities in the litigation landscape for the coming year and ranks the nation’s leading litigation firms.

Akerman Chairman and CEO Scott Meyers said: “At the heart of Akerman’s success is our relentless drive to deliver exceptional client service and achieve extraordinary outcomes. In litigation, that means our clients win. Period. Our results in ‘BTI Litigation Outlook 2025’ demonstrate that corporate counsel across the country recognize and value our litigators’ outstanding talent, skill, commitment, passion, and success in the courtroom.”

The national ranking of Akerman's litigation capabilities follows the firm’s inclusion in the 2024 “BTI Client Service A-Team” report, which recognizes Akerman as among a small group of law firms outperforming their peers on client service. BTI prepared this report by surveying in-house counsel from companies with $1 billion in revenue to the largest companies in the world, representing more than 15 industry segments.

Additionally in 2024, Akerman was named a “Leading Edge Law Firm” by BTI. In this inaugural report, BTI listed the 121 firms best equipped to meet the leading-edge expectations of clients. The report was based on more than 300 independent surveys with top legal decision makers.

BTI has been a leading provider of legal industry market research for more than 30 years.
