Eric Rapkin, chair of Akerman’s Real Estate Practice, talked to Law360 about the trends that could to dominate the real estate industry in 2019. Rapkin elaborated on e-commerce’s need for multilevel logistics facilities to accommodate the growing demand of two-day and same-day shipping, and the recent popularity of co-office spaces.
"It's interesting to see how [the co-office trend] is changing the face of who the office tenants are in various markets," Rapkin said of WeWork and Regus, two well-known businesses which offer shared office spaces to companies.
