Bloomberg Law reported this week that former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown avoided sanctions in bankruptcy court after revealing that his Florida properties, valued at over $10 million, are uninsured. Akerman Partner Eyal Berger, who represents bankruptcy trustee Leslie S. Osborne, underscored the urgency of the situation, telling Bloomberg Law, “Ultimately, the Trustee will work with Mr. Brown and his professionals in an attempt to resolve the insurance issue as quickly as possible or seek any applicable Court remedy to resolve the issue.”
