Jason S. Lichtstein has been named the president of the Florida Brownfields Association (FBA), a statewide organization dedicated to advancing the cleanup and redevelopment of Brownfield sites in Florida. FBA works with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other community and agency stakeholders and partners to support cleanup and redevelopment strategies in the interest of revitalizing Brownfields and local communities. Lichtstein will lead as FBA President from October 2019 to October 2020, after earlier serving as FBA President in 2009-2010. In addition, Lichtstein has served as a long-time member of the FBA's Board of Directors.  His role as FBA President was announced at this week's Southeast Regional Brownfields Conference held in Orlando, hosted by the FBA.

Lichtstein focuses his environmental practice on the cleanup, redevelopment, reuse, and repurposing of Brownfields and other contaminated and distressed properties across Florida, including in the structuring and use of Brownfield financial and regulatory tools and incentives.
