John Dicks has been named the chair of Florida’s Agriculture Innovation Workgroup, which examines strategic options to support the growth and development of the state’s sustainable agriculture industry.

Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried appointed 21 members to the group, including farmers, ranchers, government officials, and field experts. In addition to serving in this new capacity, Fried recently appointed Dicks to serve on the Florida State Fair Authority Board of Directors to help support operations of the Florida State Fair Authority.

Dicks is a litigator, experienced in statutory claims, fraud, breaches of contracts and fiduciary duty, estate, trust and probate litigation, commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes, and judgment execution.
