Washington, D.C. Partner John Neary has been selected as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA). The CLSA is an invitation-only international honorary association composed of preeminent lawyers specializing in construction law and related fields. Fellowship is limited and selective, with lawyers being invited into Fellowship upon a proven record of excellence and accomplishment in construction law at both the trial and appellate levels.
John represents owners, contractors, and design professionals in civil litigation matters, and provides guidance on contract formation and administration, leveraging his prior experience as a practicing engineer with Kiewit and Babcock & Wilcox. Such representation includes, among other things, critical infrastructure projects, data centers, digital and electrical vehicle infrastructure, as well as power generation facilities and energy storage systems. In addition, John’s practice focuses on state and federal government contracts counseling and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience litigating contract disputes, as well as helping clients with mandatory disclosures under the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
