Jonathan Gopman and Terron Clark were honored as 2018 Guardians of Justice for their outstanding pro bono work with Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida. In the wake of the Pulse Nightclub attack in 2016, Gopman was instrumental in creating a special Wills Clinic to assist low-income and LGBT members of the Orlando community with healthcare directives and end-of-life planning. Community Legal Services has made the clinic an ongoing event, and both Gopman and Clark volunteered their time to make the 2018 events a success. They will be recognized at an awards reception at the Citrus Club in Orlando on October 4, 2018.
