Jonathan Robbins, Cannabis Practice Chair, spoke to Reuters and commented on the increasing number of states legalizing marijuana and how the trend could impact the cannabis legal space. Four states passed measures legalizing recreational use of marijuana on the Nov. 3 election, adding to the 11 current states and the District of Columbia.
"I do anticipate the proliferation of cannabis-related work among the bigger law firms," said Robbins, who is also a founding member of the National Cannabis Bar Association. He also added a word of caution regarding the highly regulated industry: "These are not easy waters to navigate."
