Jonathan Robbins, Cannabis Practice Chair, commented on new emergency rules authorizing the sale of medical marijuana edibles published by the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use. Robbins pointed out the regulations are generally in line with those found in other states.
“To say these are long-awaited is certainly an understatement, but I'm happy they're here and I think they're pretty reasonable. People have been ready and waiting in the wings, and there's no doubt in my mind that every licensed [operator] will be moving with alacrity. My sense is there will be a flurry of licensing deals now with recognized brands in other states.”
