Healthcare Partner Jordan Cohen believes the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare will soon be not only common place but, in certain circumstances, even required. In an article discussing the future of AI in healthcare, Cohen, who leads Akerman's Digital Health Team, recently told Mergers & Acquisitions magazine as the technology continues to advance it is proving its value.

"I think we will eventually get to a place where providers may be committing malpractice by not leveraging Al Tools," Cohen told the magazine. "Especially in radiology, where every year it's becoming clearer that certain radiological tasks, like reading certain scans, it can do as well or better than human radiologists. There's going to be a question of 'Did you run my scan through an Al platform to help you? If you didn't, why didn't you?'"
