Kenneth Alberstadt garnered high honors among the 2018 recipients of The Broadway Beacon Award, presented by leading nonprofit Inside Broadway. Every year, the prized recognition celebrates a select group of distinguished individuals for their advocacy toward increasing the audience for live theater and their promotion of the important role that arts and education has on the lives of young people. A longtime board member of Inside Broadway, Alberstadt received the award at the June 25 Broadway Beacon Awards Gala held at the JW Marriot in New York. Also a board member of Inside Broadway, Alexandra Kambouris Alberstadt, received the distinct honor as well. Since 1982, Inside Broadway has benefited the lives of nearly 1 million New York City public school students with dedicated education programs fostering new generations of theatergoers.
