Law360 and Law.com are among the publications that reported on Akerman’s representation of Trulieve Cannabis Corp. in an acquisition that establishes a vertically integrated footprint for Trulieve. Trulieve has agreed to acquire PurePenn LLC and Pioneer Leasing & Consulting LLC (collectively PurePenn), a licensed cultivator and producer of medical marijuana, for an upfront payment of $46 million plus a potential earn-out payment of up to approximately $60 million. Trulieve is also purchasing Keystone Relief Centers LLC, a  licensed medical marijuana dispensary operator doing business as Solevo Wellness (Solevo), for an upfront purchase price of $20 million, plus a potential earn-out payment of up to approximately $15 million.
