Litigation Associate Michelle Hogan has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for the 2025–26 term.
The Federal Bar Association was founded in 1920 and is dedicated to the advance of the science of jurisprudence and to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of all attorneys involved in federal law. It has nearly 100 chapters and a strong national presence.
The Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is composed more than 100 federal lawyers who live or practice in Broward County. The Broward County Chapter acts as a catalyst for communication between the federal bar and the federal judiciary in the Southern District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit. It promotes community involvement to maintain civility in the practice and ensure proper guidance and education for new and younger attorneys.
Michelle focuses her practice on complex commercial and tort litigation in state and federal courts, including matters involving breach of contract, product liability, business torts, and claims arising under federal statutes such as the Helms-Burton Act, Title VII, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. She also has experience conducting internal investigations involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
