Pedro Freyre, International Practice Chair, shared with International Comparative Legal Guides his predictions for a rebound of the global M&A market in 2021. The industry was hit by a number of challenges in the past year, including COVID-19 hurtles and legislative, regulatory, national security, antitrust matters, and foreign investment restrictions, but activity is expected to increase in the coming months. Freyre warned that the full impact of the pandemic and political changes is yet to be realized.
