Steven Grigas has been elected to the board of the Florida Bar Health Law Section’s Executive Council, and has been appointed by Incoming President of the Florida Bar, Dori Foster-Morales, to the Florida Bar's Governmental and Public Policy Advocacy committee.

The Health Law Section’s goal is to provide a forum for the improvement and development of the field of health law and to carry out the professional needs and objectives in the area of health law.

The Florida Bar's Government and Public Policy Advocacy committee provides counsel and advice to the Bar on Executive Office and Legislative matters of concern to Florida's attorneys and the public. 

Grigas is a former interim Medicaid Director, Assistant Deputy Secretary, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Medicaid Counsel for the State of Florida, and has presided over the State of Florida’s $15 billion Medicaid program. His deep healthcare sector knowledge is widely recognized, and he frequently conducts presentations at both the state and federal level. Grigas is also an accomplished litigator with considerable experience in administrative, state, and federal courts.
