Super Lawyers Magazine has named Akerman Real Estate Associate Steven A. Paletz a 2027 Colorado "Rising Star," a designation for lawyers who are 40 years or younger or in practice for 10 years or fewer. This marks the fourth consecutive year Steven has received the honor.

Steven represents local, regional, and national developers throughout the lifecycle of a commercial real estate transaction, working across residential, industrial, retail, office, mixed-use, and hospitality projects. He previously served as general counsel for a national homebuilder based in Colorado, and he currently serves as a commissioner on the Colorado Economic Development Commission and as co-chair of the National Young Leadership Cabinet of Jewish Federations of North America. Steven has also been named to the Denver Business Journal's 2026 40 Under 40 list and recognized by Best Lawyers as a "One to Watch" for Land Use and Zoning Law and Real Estate Law (2024-2026).
