Tamara Savin Malvin has been appointed by the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section to serve as the chair of the Gaming Law Committee. The committee strives to provide cutting-edge information on all substantive gaming law developments, including a comprehensive overview of the multiple facets of commercial, Native American, and internet gaming at the state, national, and international levels.
In her practice, Malvin advises resort, hotel, pari-mutuel, and casino owners and operators on regulatory and operational concerns, as well as litigation and appellate matters. She litigates and handles appeals in both federal and state court, representing clients in civil commercial matters, such as contract disputes, fiduciary duty claims, personal injury and premises liability defense, regularly handling regulatory and state administrative actions, and supports corporate due diligence efforts pertaining to gaming.
