Trusts and Estates Practice Chair Stacey Prince-Troutman, Capital Markets Practice Co-Chair Christina Russo, and Government Affairs and Public Policy Partner Felicia Leborgne Nowels, have been recognized in the 2023 Florida Trend Legal Elite Notable – Women Leaders in Law special section. As recognized leaders within their industry, these peer nominated Women Leaders in Law are regarded for their leadership, vision, and ability to effect growth in the professional and civic organizations they serve.

Prince-Troutman works with individuals and families in probate, trusts and estates, and transfer tax controversy matters and has significant experience working with business owners and affluent families. 

With years of experience representing public and private companies, Russo routinely advises clients on corporate and securities matters, and mergers and acquisitions. She also counsels boards and senior management on a variety of corporate governance matters, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters.

Board Certified in International law, Nowels focuses her practice on international trade, export controls and Customs law. She assists domestic and foreign companies with cross-border movement of regulated goods, and mitigating risk in international trade. 

Florida Trend invited peer nominations from across the state to recommend women leaders in law who met specific methodology and criteria parameters. Nominations were vetted by Florida Trend and the most noteworthy candidates were selected based on their outstanding leadership, mentorship, vision for change and growth.
