Akerman is proud to share that GlobeSt. has selected Real Estate Partners Jaclyn Scarinci and Daniel Miktus for its “CRE’s Aspiring Leaders of 2026” list. The list recognizes “ambitious and talented professionals, under the age of 40, who hold solid track records of noteworthy transaction volume and significant contributions to their company’s overall success.”

Jaclyn advises property owners, developers, lenders, and nonprofit organizations on land use, zoning, regulatory, and transactional matters related to real estate development in New York City. She works closely with project teams to determine highest and best use, represents clients before key city agencies on development approvals and ULURP applications, and counsels on affordable housing and the Inclusionary Housing program. Her practice also includes handling real estate transactions such as purchase and sale agreements, transfer of development rights, and zoning-related agreements.

Daniel represents real estate owners, developers, and contractors in construction contract drafting and negotiation and construction litigation matters, with significant experience in complex private and public development matters. His practice spans large-scale projects across sectors including commercial, multifamily, energy, hospitality, infrastructure and transportation, data centers, and life sciences. He is licensed in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, and regularly appears before state and federal courts as well as key government contract appeals boards.
