Zachary Kobrin has been appointed to serve as Chair of the Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee (MCAC) of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. As an advisory committee member, Kobrin will provide recommendations to the department regarding policies and guidance on medical cannabis edibles, consumer needs and concerns, and other medical cannabis issues.
Kobrin’s practice focuses on cannabis, marijuana, and hemp law. Having previously served as general counsel and chief compliance officer for a multinational cannabis company, he advises clients on the evolving, complex legal and business issues impacting companies with interests in the cannabis, a heavily regulated industry.
