Cherly Lucien is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation and shareholder disputes. She has significant experience handling high-stakes business disputes, white-collar defense and investigations, securities enforcement actions, and criminal defense and civil rights litigation.

Prior to joining Akerman, Cherly clerked for the Honorable Judge Rodney Smith, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida. During her clerkship, she gained invaluable experience in drafting opinions and orders, as well as analyzing pleadings and motions to offer recommendations on case disposition.
