Danielle Gordet provides guidance on a broad range of healthcare regulatory matters, including compliance with fraud and abuse laws, such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, as well as issues related to HIPAA, EMTALA, licensure, and the corporate practice of medicine. She routinely assists healthcare providers by drafting and negotiating agreements, including those for physician services, consulting services, equity and asset purchases, and other agreements that arise in the operation of their practices.

On behalf of her clients, Danielle evaluates corporate compliance programs to determine effectiveness, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with federal healthcare program requirements. This may include reviewing and revising compliance policies to ensure risk areas are addressed and that policies are up-to-date.

Danielle's experience working for two of the largest public hospital systems in Southern Florida has exposed her to a wide range of healthcare issues and given her the opportunity to develop expertise handling the legal and compliance issues with which healthcare systems contend.
