Diana M. Martinez partners with clients to navigate the complex and evolving landscape of employment laws in California. She has extensive experience representing employers in single plaintiff matters in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration for claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and of wage-hour violations under California and federal laws. In addition, she routinely defends employers in complex wage-hour class and representative actions under the California Private Attorneys General Act. Diana also has experience handling wage claims pending before the California Labor Commissioner’s Office.

Beyond litigation, Diana is a trusted advisor to employers on day-to-day workforce management issues, such as hiring practices, arbitration agreements, worker classifications, remote work policies, accommodations, and separations. Further, Diana has experience auditing wage-hour policies and practices, and conducting workplace investigations.
