With two decades of federal policy experience, including working on Capitol Hill in both chambers of congress, Jane Sargent advocates for clients before the legislative and administrative branches of government. She works on behalf of local governments, transit districts, nonprofit entities, higher education institutions, trade associations, and corporate entities, to achieve specific federal goals and objectives. Her work includes federal appropriations, transportation, healthcare, international trade, and energy matters. Clients appreciate her comprehensive scope of services, including legislative and federal agency advocacy.

In federal appropriations, Jane helps clients secure funds for projects, including defense, infrastructure, criminal justice, education, and economic development. She works with her clients to draft and pass authorizing legislation to address complex needs in the areas of healthcare, trade, transportation, and natural resources.

Jane gained invaluable political experience throughout her career, previously serving as Chief Counsel and Legislative Director for Congressman John Lewis (D-Georgia), the Chief Deputy Democratic Whip, and a member of the Ways and Means Committee. She also served as Staff Counsel for former Senator Max Cleland (D-Georgia).
